Melissa Nelson

Melissa Nelson

Executive Innovator, Co-Founder

With over 18 years of marketing experience, Melissa has worked with some of America’s most revered brands. She was instrumental in the relaunch of the iconic Indian Motorcycle and has worked with Chris-Craft Boats. She also worked for the New York Times Regional Media Group and was publisher of From Scratch Magazine. Her passion for creating brand experiences that establish lasting connection is what inspired her to launch The MOX Collective, a collective of creative professionals who produce inspired work.

Communications Curator, Co-Founder

After working for the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau for more than five years as the communications and social media specialist, Jenny Bell co-founded The MOX Collective, LLC with Melissa Nelson in Fayetteville, North Carolina. With a Bachelor of Arts in English/Sociology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Jenny’s extensive work and volunteer experience for nonprofit/not-for-profit organizations has covered the gamut of communications and public relations management. Two of her proudest personal and professional achievements are being selected for the WRAL Readers’ Choice Awards as “Best Blogger” in 2019 and being chosen for The Fayetteville Observer’s “40 Under 40” class of 2020. 

Saira Meneses

Saira Meneses

Operations Manager

Saira Meneses is a mother, teacher, farmer, and owner of two businesses. She serves as The MOX Collective’s Operations Manager (aka “Operations Wrangler”). Saira graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in management and has been working with local businesses in the Fayetteville area since 2004. She found her original professional purpose in raising livestock and farming in different ways; however, Saira also enjoys working with The MOX’s creative team, bringing her many skills and talents to the table, and affecting positive change in the Fayetteville community and the world at large.
